There came a point when I wanted to say "enough is enough" - the same mistakes were being made time and time again.
It was as if there was a lack of understanding, no learning and no sharing of what made for a good experience when it came to publicity. So I decided to share what I know - and wrote a blog post To all organisers of art competitions and open exhibitions introducing the new Guide I had written - and the reasons why I wanted to share my perspective on how they could improve what they do to help me do what I do. |
There's a lot already done that is good - and I do want to emphasise I get a lot of help from some PR people - but there's also quite a lot of scope for improvement. Below I'm sharing the good practices that I know exist - and a few tips of my own! |
